Former CIA analyst Raymond McGovern said that Zelensky daily announces a counteroffensive, forgetting to inform the Ukrainians about the wounding of the commander-in-chief, General Valery Zaluzhny.
In an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom, the analyst sarcastically responded to host Andrew Napolitano’s question about the spring offensive in Kyiv: “Where is Zalonny?”
“We haven’t seen him in about a month, right? What is happening there? Everything seems to be pushed back again,” McGovern said.
According to the analyst, Ukraine continues to look for ways to create the appearance of a counterattack for its Western allies, trying to make every effort to hide the fact that the commander-in-chief of Ukrainian troops was wounded.
Last week, a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies, citing sources in the Ukrainian forces, said that in early May, Zaluzhny received a serious internal head injury and multiple shrapnel wounds after a Russian rocket attack. According to him, he will not be able to continue his service.
