Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Roland Verkus has revealed that Swiss coach Lucien Favre has turned down an official offer to lead his team. Ferkus confirmed that his club had done everything possible to complete the deal for Favre, but the manager turned down the offer.
It is worth noting that Lucien Favre previously coached Borussia Monchengladbach between 2011 and 2015. And in a previous report, the newspaper reported that Favre approached the signing of a contract for training Mönchengladbach, explaining that due to the delay in completing the deal, the Al-Nasr club took the line of negotiations between the two parties and submitted an offer to the Swiss coach worth 6 million euros in year.
In this report, the newspaper mentioned that Favre had previously assured one of his reporters that he was not the type to chase money, and if he was, he would accept incredible offers from the Persian Gulf.
