The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is still a little more than a week away from retail availability, but that doesn't mean units aren't being tinkered with. While the rest of us await retail devices, an exciting function appears to be uncovered with the top-tier Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The newly discovered feature allows users to skip the battery while charging their phone, conserving battery health and decreasing heat buildup during intensive use.
According to YouTube channel NL Tech, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra includes a feature named 'Pause the USB Power Delivery' that can be selected in the Game Launcher menu to prevent the charger from topping up the phone's internal battery
While this is undoubtedly wonderful news, 9to5Google has discovered that the feature is not in their possession of Galaxy S23 series phones. The news organization has contacted Samsung for more information, and we have also gone out to our contacts for clarity.
