According to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium press service, the accident occurred on the evening of March 21, when bad weather conditions and excessive working load caused the tensioning frame of one of the hoses at the outlet of the floating pump to become dislodged. station 3, which requires the station to be stopped for the duration of the repair.

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium is the main export route for Kazakh oil and carries more than 80% of the volume pumped through the pipelines. The pipeline’s annual 67 million ton oil capacity.
