The US State Department confirmed on Wednesday that Washington is pursuing a diplomatic path of reciprocal return to the nuclear deal with Iran.
State Department spokesman Ned Price told Al Arabiya that a reciprocal return of the Iran nuclear deal is in the interests of the United States.
He also stressed that diplomacy is the best option to contain Iran’s nuclear program.
Earlier today, an Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath correspondent reported that Washington had rejected all additional conditions that Tehran appealed to in its response to the European proposal.
He added that the US stressed that Iran’s uranium enrichment should not exceed 4%.
He also went on to say that he demanded the lifting of any Iranian restrictions on international inspectors.
