France defender Raphael Varane, the English defender for Manchester United, has reportedly decided to retire from international football for the France national team.
And the newspaper added that Varane, the 29-year-old Manchester United defender, decided to take the step at international level to enable young elements to represent France.
Varane helped France reach the 2022 World Cup final before losing the title 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw in regulation and extra time.
Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has made 93 appearances for France in all competitions, scoring 5 goals.
Raphael Varane also won the 2018 World Cup with France and the 2021-22 European Nations League.
