Olena Chulyak, the leader of the Ukrainian “Servant of the People” party, announced that a group of deputies of her party submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill banning “pro-Russian parties”.
“The Parliament has received a jointly developed bill with our deputies and the Ministry of Justice on the procedures and consequences of banning pro-Russian parties,” he wrote on Telegram.
In the draft, it is stipulated that the maximum period for hearing administrative cases regarding the dissolution of a party at the Court of First Instance is one month after the proceedings have been opened.
“The appellate court should consider the case within one month of the start of appeal procedures,” he said.
It is stated that “if a party is banned by the court, the property, money, other assets and structural formations of the party will become state property, as stated in the court decision.”
