The UAE has announced the issuance of multiple-entry tourist visas for football fans who will travel to Qatar for the 2022 World Cup, according to an official statement.
Emirates News Agency said holders of the Haya card, designed for fans of the World Cup in Qatar, will receive an entry visa and a residence permit in the UAE for up to ninety days for just 100 dirhams ($27). possibility of extension for another 90 days.
According to the agency, the move is “as part of the UAE’s support for the sister State of Qatar in hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup by accommodating visitors to the event and allowing them to enter the Emirates.”
The agency confirmed that this visa “allows entry and exit from the UAE several times during its validity period.”
The World Cup Final will take place later this year from November 20 to December 18, for the first time in the Arab world and the Middle East.
The Haya Fan Card is a mandatory identification document for fans attending football wedding matches.
Last week, the Kingdom announced the issuance of multiple entry visas to all Haya card holders.
Qatar expects around 1.4 million visitors during the World Cup.
Saudi and Kuwait Airways, flydubai and Oman Air will also operate over 160 daily shuttle flights from November 20 to return and return within 24 hours to and from Doha to follow the matches.
