Twitch and Penalties
As we know, the Twitch streaming platform does not hesitate to banish videographers who stray from the right path. The streaming giant has strict rules of good conduct that streamers must follow to the letter, otherwise their account will be expressly banned. The best-known cases are often of a sexual nature and many streamers have paid the price over the years, starting with Amouranth.
The problem is that Twitch moderation has been repeatedly accused of banning certain accounts too quickly. Whether it’s for a wardrobe problem or the simple evocation of a term deemed explicit, Twitch sometimes shoots without warning, which has the gift of annoying the videographers concerned. Their policies are regularly deemed unfair and that is exactly what Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon, a streamer recently banned for a dance considered suggestive, criticizes them for.
Exaggerated Ban?
Alinity has nearly 1.4 million followers on Twitch and is one of the platform’s most popular streamers. The young woman offers various content to her community, between session from let’s talk, hot tubs and gaming. A few days ago, son account has been suspended. The reason? A dance considered too sensual by moderation. Precisely twerking. For this dance, the young videographer received a three-day suspension.
For Alinity, it’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. The young woman had already been banned in 2020 for a wardrobe malfunction. If she feels that her first suspension was appropriate, this second ban is totally unjustified.
She then made it clear on her social networks son desire to sail towards new horizons, which did not fail to react to the newcomers in the world of streaming, like Kick and Rumble who answered him in the comment space of his publication.
got banned on twitch for TWERKING. Yes, really. What a bullshit ass platform, thinking on taking business somewhere else.

However, the streamer has obviously changed her mind and decided to appeal. She pointed the finger at Twitch’s decision which she considers abusive and recalled in son message that genuinely suggestive content was not making as much noise on the platform. Of son aside, Twitch also reminded that content must be postponed first before it goes through moderation review.
The streamer finally won causebut son case comes once again to highlight the limits of the policy pursued by Twitch. Also, Alinity met here highlights another problem, namely the sometimes extreme sexualization of female streamers by viewers. His case is not the first and will not be the last.
