Social media Giant TikTok announced Sunday it suspends the display of all videos content From Russia in to ensure the safety of its employees and to comply with that of the country new “false news” regulations.
“In light of Russia new ‘false news’ law, we have no choice but to suspend the live broadcast and new content to our video department while we review the safety consequences of this law,” the company said. in a Twitter message, adding that son in-the application’s messaging service will not be affected.
“We will continue to assess the evolving circumstances in Russia must determine when we can fully resume our services with safety as our top priority.”
