The White House has announced that US President Joe Biden has no plans to sit with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during the upcoming G20 summit in Indonesia.
“He (Biden) is not going to sit down at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin and that is our position today,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters Thursday.
Biden has previously said he does not plan to meet with Putin on the sidelines of the G-20 summit on the Indonesian island of Bali in November.
The Kremlin has not yet officially confirmed whether President Putin will attend the summit in person or speak via video technology.
