The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that it has started recruiting reserve soldiers between the ages of 18-60, based on the President’s decision to recruit.
The statement said, “Reserves between the ages of 18 and 60 will be subject to compulsory military service. In accordance with the decree of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to call reservists into the army, they will become like officers and special non-commissioned officers.” The statement stated that the maximum term of service is one year.
