The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation proposed granting “veteran” privileges to soldiers participating in the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
A bill submitted to the parliament stated that “in 2022 the estimated budgetary expenditures for these purposes will exceed 5 billion rubles”.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at dawn last Thursday that a special military operation was launched in southeastern Ukraine to protect Donbass.
Putin stressed that Russia will work for the disarmament and de-Nazification of Ukraine and bring to justice the perpetrators of bloody crimes against civilians, including citizens of the Russian Federation.
