The Pentagon announced a “successful” test of a Lockheed Martin hypersonic missile.
A US Air Force spokesman said the tests were taking place off the coast of southern California. He added that the test was the 12th as part of the AGM-183A advanced cruise missile development program, as well as the third test launch of the missile. The Pentagon confirmed that the missile reached hypersonic speed and completed the primary and secondary missions. And the media talked about two successful tests of hypersonic missiles produced by Lockheed Martin under the HAWC and ARRW programs in April and May last year.
