The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom to the United Nations in Geneva participated in an interactive dialogue at the Human Rights Council on the situation of human rights in the Sudan. The Permanent Representative, Ambassador Abdul Mohsen bin Khatila, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the positive cooperation of the sister government of the Republic of the Sudan with international human rights mechanisms, in particular the Office of the High Commissioner of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, in order to fulfill its obligations to ensure security and stability and improve conditions human rights in all its citizens, despite the challenges it faces.
The Ambassador called on the international community to continue to support the Sudanese government in order to move forward in achieving political, economic and social stability for the Sudanese people, in line with the aspirations of the Sudanese themselves.
