The Just 4 Soul Mare Wins Umm Al Qura University Cup
The Just 4 Soul mare, owned by HRH Prince Sultan bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, emerged victorious in the Umm Al Qura University Cup. The prestigious award was presented by Umm Al Qura University Vice President, Dr. Farid bin Ali Al Ghamdi. The ceremony took place at the (15th) Taif Racing Season 2023 Ceremony held at King Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Square in Al Hawiyeh. Khaled Al-Ashri, the Discretionary Racing Club and General Supervisor of the Taif Racing Season, presented the award to the deserving winner.
Exciting Races at the Taif Racing Season Ceremony
The Taif Racing Season Ceremony showcased a series of thrilling races for various ages and groups. The event included nine rounds, each featuring different ranks and classifications. The winners of the nine races were:
Round 1: Buisha
In the first round, at a distance of 1400m, the mare Buisha, owned by Muhammad Faisal Mustafa Salama and trained by Badan Al-Subaye under the leadership of Dharb Al-Tamiyat, emerged victorious.
Round 2: Badr Al-Alia
The second round, at a distance of 1600m, was won by the horse Badr Al-Alia, owned by the children of Sharif Hazaa Shaker Al-Abdali. The horse was trained by Abdulaziz Al-Musa and led by Al-Khayal Muhammad Al-Khabil.
Round 3: Al-Jawad Helmi
In the third round, at a distance of 1600m, Al-Jawad Helmi, owned by Ali Hamza Nasib Al-Akhdar and trained by Abdullah Nasib under the leadership of Al-Khayal Abdullah Al-Kreydes, claimed victory.
Round 4: Al-Jawad Ibn Hadban
Al-Jawad Ibn Hadban, owned by Ali Hamza Nasib Al-Akhdar and trained by Abdullah Nasib under the leadership of Al-Khayal Abdullah Al-Kreydes, secured the win in the fourth round at a distance of 2000m.
Round 5: Al-Jawad Abu Al-Azm
The fifth round, at a distance of 2400m, saw Al-Jawad Abu Al-Azm, owned by Nasser Mozi Ubayd bin Omaira and trained by Sabah Al-Shammari under the guidance of Al-Khayal Yasser Al-Bakawi, emerge as the victor.
Round 6: Najib Al-Zaman
In the sixth round, at a distance of 2000m, the horse Najib Al-Zaman, from the stable of Safwa Al-Adiyat and trained by Abdulaziz Al-Musa under the leadership of Al-Khayal Luis Morales, clinched the win.
Round 7: Nadim Al-Muluk Al-Khalidiya
During the seventh round, at a distance of 1600m, the horse Nadim Al-Muluk Al-Khalidiya, owned by the sons of HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and trained by Saad Mutlak under the guidance of Al-Khayal Adel al-Faridi, emerged as the champion.
Round 8: Shakra Sultan
Shakra Sultan, a mare owned by HRH Prince Sultan bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz and trained by Shalla Al-Odhayani under Al-Khayal and Giberto Ramos, claimed victory in the eighth round at a distance of 1400m.
Round 9: Just 4 Soul
The mare Just 4 Soul, owned by HRH Prince Sultan bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, and trained by Shallah Al-Odhayani, led by Al-Khayal Luis Morales, emerged victorious in the ninth round at a distance of 1600m.
