The Technical Committee for Competitions and Championships of the Saudi Handball Federation has announced coordination and registration periods for Saudi and foreign players and births, as well as transition periods for Saudi players under the 28 and 32 years system for the next sports season 2022-2022. 2023 AD
Saudi Arabia players for all categories will be coordinated during the first period from June 30, 2022 to August 25, 2022, and the second period will be from January 1, 2023 to the 15th of the same month, with a maximum of 5 players from each categories for this period only.
It is planned that the first period for Saudi and foreign players and newborns will be unified for Premier League and First Division clubs from July 17, 2022 to August 18, 2022, while the second period for Premier League clubs will be from December 3, 2022 until January 15, 2023, while it will be for League clubs. The first is from December 1, 2022 to the 31st of the same month, and during the same periods the registration of born players for Premier and First Clubs, while the registration of players born for the age groups: (youth – juniors – cubs – buds – young) will be available throughout the sports season.
Transfer periods for players fell under the 28 and 32 Gregorian year systems, starting with the application period for players wishing to transfer from July 17, 2022 AD until the 30th of the same month, then the period for notifying clubs of the names of players wishing to transfer would be 31 -th of the same month, after which the application period will include clubs wishing to register transfer players from the same date until 9 August 2022 AD.
Player envelopes will be opened on August 10, 2022 AD, before clubs are given a deadline to keep players in the 28-year system from August 10 to 15, 2022 AD, and finally registering players moving to 28- and 32 -year systems will operate from August 16 to 21, 2022 AD.
