HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sponsored the Saudi Arabian Cup horse racing ceremony at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh on Saturday evening. Upon arrival, HRH Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors, received HRH Crown Prince Equestrian, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club, and HRH Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Member of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club and chairman of the technical committees.
He arrived accompanied by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, HRH Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports, and HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard.
Before the start of the race, the royal anthem was played.
After that, the horses participating in the races moved from the saddle arena to the front arena in a two-turn formation before the start of the race, and all riders participating in the races were in the front arena.
After that, the eighth round of the Saudi Cup began.
After the end of the race, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, headed towards the delivery platform.
His Highness the Crown Prince congratulated Hero Race Company Limited, the owner of the Benthalassa horse, for winning the Saudi Arabian Cup.
His Highness the Crown Prince also congratulated horse trainer Yoshito Yahagi and jockey Yutaka Yoshida, who received a model horse and a cavalry helmet.
