In particular, the animation industry in Vietnam saw expansion by gaining approval for 16 films from the Cinema department of Ministry of Culture of Vietnam for distribution, according to a Vietnam News Service report.
Viet Nam Cartoon Studio – under the aegis of Viet Nam Cartoon Joint Stock Company – last year produced three historical animated films: “Heroines”, “The Battle on Bach Dang River” and “Emperor Dai Hanh”.
Each 30-minute film featured superb content and visual effects due to their various fashions like 2D, 3D or computer- generated paper cut.
The three films tell the events leading to the Vietnam War against China thousands of years ago.
“Although historic in natural designers broke up out of the dry and conventional narration of former factbased on stories. Figures of history come to life vividly, while their inner personalities have been painstakingly explored to former a new style of Vietnamese animation, different from anything the country cinema industry has never produced before,” the report said, adding that the Southeast nation “is set for a golden period of animation.”

At the 22nd Viet Nam Film Festival, “The Wooden Birds” won gold while “The Master of eternity” and “The light that never goes out” won silver medals.
During the Animation Contest 2021 hosted by Korea Content Creation Agency and Korea Cultural Center, “Eternal Flame” and “Red Nosed Cat Warrior” won the first and second price.
