The General Directorate of Operations under the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training launched the Girls’ Football League Championship from 28 girls’ technical colleges throughout the Kingdom. Abdullah Al-Duhaylan, General Director of Corporation Operations, indicated that the tournament will be held with the participation of 13 educational units from the regions after the qualifiers among the 28 educational units where the final qualifiers will be held in the Al-Qasim district, at the Technical College in Onaiz, with the support of the Ministry of Sports and the Football association of Saudi Arabia, as well as a partnership with the Al-Arabi club in Onaiz.
He added that the goal of launching the Girls Football League is to provide students with the opportunity to pursue their hobby of football, achieve competition, hone talent and develop the knowledge aspect of the sport, indicating that qualifying competitions will be held. between teams of girls’ colleges by geographic distribution, so that they will go through the league system between the teams. The team representing its administrative region qualifies.
