Heinous Crime: Syrian Woman Kills Husband’s Son over 50,000 Syrian Pounds
In a new heinous crime, a Syrian woman killed her husband’s son with a sharp object on Sunday over a dispute over a cash sum of 50,000 Syrian pounds (about $5). The crime took place in “the district of Qasra al-Surur in the southern part of Raqqa, in territory under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).”
Increasing Incidents of Premeditated Murders
The Observatory has recorded 44 premeditated murders in the territories controlled by the autonomous administration since the beginning of this year. These crimes include instances of domestic violence, motives for theft, as well as some reasons and motives that are still unknown.
A total of 46 people, including 6 women and 5 children, have fallen victim to these crimes. The incidents occurred in Al-Hasakah, Deir ez-Zor, Ar Raqqa, Manbij, and Ain al-Arab (Kobani).
