The Limb Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Marib Province provided various medical services to 372 Yemenis who lost their limbs in June 2022 with the support of the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Center. During the project, 380 services were provided, of which 83% were men and 17% women, displaced persons 90% and residents 10% of the total number of beneficiaries, while limb prostheses were made, installed and rehabilitated for 71 patients, including delivery, measurement and maintenance of prosthetic limbs; and services. Physical therapy ranged from physical therapy sessions to specialized consultations, which helped 301 patients.
This is a continuation of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, through the Center, to increase the capacity of the health sector and attempt to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people.
