9 demonstrators were killed by security forces and police while participating in mass protests organized by “resistance committees” over the weekend, and 629 were injured; Some of them are seriously injured, according to the Sudanese Central Committee of Doctors.
This brings the death toll from protests in Sudan to 114 since the army took over last October and declared a state of emergency.
