Saudi Arabia Sport for All Federation today announced the launch of the Jeddah Half Marathon to be held on Saturday, December 10th in Jeddah with the direct support of the Ministry of Sports and the Quality of Life Program to encourage all members of society to be physically active and play sports , as well as the unlimited and continuous support provided by the wise government led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince to the sports sector in accordance with the plans and goals of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
The Saudi Sport for All Federation has designed three race tracks in the Jeddah Half Marathon for all members of society with different abilities and fitness levels of both sexes, in addition to a 4K race for beginners and children from all members of the community. .
In the interests of the Federation, in order to raise the spirit of competition among the participants, the winners who placed higher were awarded cash prizes of one million Saudi Riyals, details of which will be revealed later.
His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Olympic and Paralympic Committee of Saudi Arabia, welcomed all participants in this race from all over the world, expecting this important sporting event to achieve its goals of increasing the percentage of sports practice and creating dynamic community, noting in this regard that the Kingdom has been able to make significant progress over the past few years in achieving its goal of becoming one of the most important sports destinations in the world, thanks to God’s success and then to the support of our wise leadership – God bless him .
