The Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation of Sports for All recently held its quarterly session at the Headquarters of the Federation Headquarters in Riyadh, chaired by HRH Prince Khalid bin Al Waleed bin Talal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation and the presence of Board members led by Her By Royal Highness Princess Rima bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, with the inclusion of a new member of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Mr. Badr bin Muhammad Al-Asaker, Director of the Private Office of His Highness the Crown Prince.
The agenda of the meeting was discussed, the programs of the Union implemented over the past period were discussed, positive results were achieved by increasing the number of participants in events organized by the Union, and future initiatives and projects within the framework of the General Strategy of the Union were considered.
For her part, Shaima Al-Hussaini, Executive Director of the Saudi Sports for All Federation, gave a comprehensive presentation of measurement criteria for increased interest in exercise among members of society. Highlighting the influential role played by the federation in supporting the quality of life agenda, the board members commended the federation’s efforts to help achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in encouraging community participation in sports.
Al-Hussaini presented her vision for the growth and expansion plans to Council members and listened to their comments and visions on the Federation’s strategy and how to work to develop and improve the delivery mechanisms of its various programs and activities.
The Union’s progress in forging new and high-quality partnerships with the private sector was also discussed, including recently signed memorandums of understanding, in addition to the fruitful results achieved to date as a result of the union’s joint efforts with its partners at the local and international levels. .
At the meeting, members of the Board of Directors stressed the need to build on this experience, emphasizing the importance of meeting the needs of practitioners and sports enthusiasts from all walks of life.
Notably, the board of directors includes HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America Dr. Ghazi bin Zagr, Fawaz Farooqi, Ayman Al-Falaj, Faris al-Turki, Lina al-Main and Firas al-Qasim.
