The seventh conference of religious leaders and leaders will be held in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, in mid-September, which will consider “the role of religious leaders in the spiritual and social development of humanity in the post-coronavirus period.”
It is expected that the conference will be opened by Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar ash-Sharifa, who received an official invitation from the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kimilovich Tokayev, last February to attend and open the activities of the conference.
As part of the visit, a number of important meetings and events are planned, during which Sheikh Al-Azhar will meet with the President of Kazakhstan and the Chairman of the Senate, a number of Kazakhstani religious figures, public figures and parliamentarians to discuss ways to strengthen joint Islamic cooperation, interfaith dialogue and related areas.
