Signing a contract to host the World Martial Arts Games

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and President of the Association of International Federations (GAISF) Evo Virani signed a contract to host the 2023 World Martial Arts Games in Riyadh in the presence of Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed , Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Association of International Federations Stephen Fox, at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh. The Kingdom won hosting the tournament during the 24th General Assembly of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, which was held in May 2021. The tournament includes games: aikido, boxing, judo, jujitsu, karate, kendo. , kickboxing, muay thai, sambo, sawat, sumo, taekwondo, wrestling, wushu and fencing.
