The Olympic team of Saudi Arabia reached the final match of the Asian Cup under 23, which takes place in Uzbekistan.
The national team qualified after defeating their Australian colleague with a score of 2:0 in the confrontation that took place between them today (Wednesday) at the Pakhtakor Central Stadium in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, as part of the semifinal matches of the tournament.
The first goal was signed by player Hussein Al-Issa in the 20th minute and the first half ended with Saudi Arabia leading the Australian team, with the second goal signed by Ayman Yahya in the 72nd minute of the match.
With this victory, the Saudi Arabian Olympic team will become the first Asian team to reach the final of the tournament for the second time in a row, as well as the most Asian team to reach the final of the tournament (3 times).
