New Update for Expert RAW Photo App from Samsung
A new version of the Expert RAW photo app from Samsung is now available in the Galaxy Store. This update brings the app’s version number up to 2.0.10.6. Some users got it earlier this week, and it’s now more widely available.
The changelog for Expert RAW 2.0.10.6 says that bugs have been fixed and picture quality has improved. Samsung doesn’t say much about either of these changes, but we can confirm that the newest version of Expert RAW drops the saturation of the photos you take.
The difference in color is hard to see unless you look at the same photo taken with the older and newer versions of the app, but there is a difference, as you can see in the before and after pictures of the same scene below.
Whether or not you like this change depends on your personal tastes, but remember that Expert RAW is an advanced app with many shooting tools, so you can change things like saturation before you take a picture. You can also make changes after the fact with apps like Adobe Lightroom or the picture editor that comes with your phone.
You can get the Expert RAW update from the Galaxy Store if you have a compatible phone. Most Galaxy flagships that came out after 2020 are supported. It’s possible that the update isn’t ready for you yet. If that’s the case, check back later.
