Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Center took part in a field trip as part of a project to support medical services for mothers, newborns and children in four districts of the Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan as part of its contribution to the Livelihoods and Livelihoods program. Fund Islamic Development Bank projects helping 300,000 people in targeted areas, including 62,238 women of childbearing age, 10,118 pregnant women, 9,903 newborns and 45,264 children under the age of five. The project aims to rehabilitate 4 central hospitals in target areas, provide equipment to 4 central hospitals and provide basic equipment to 87 primary health care homes, 42 health centers in rural and urban areas, provide nine sets of fully equipped ambulances, and conduct 24 campaigns to raise awareness on access to security services reproductive and child health; and improving the dietary diversity of children in rural areas.
This comes as part of the Kingdom’s commitment, represented by the Center, to support motherhood, reduce infant mortality and support affected people around the world.
