Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center launched a 749,000 tonne food parcel distribution project in Asilan, Ain and Baihan districts in Shabwa province, benefiting 42,000 people.
This is part of a food parcel distribution project that the Kingdom is implementing through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, to the most needy groups in the governorates of Marib, Al Jawf, Shabwa and Taiz, in order to achieve food security and alleviate the suffering of those in need and satisfy their basic food needs, especially as the holy month of Ramadan approaches.
