English club Liverpool have honored Egyptian star Mohamed Salah after receiving the English Writers Association’s Player of the Year award for this season for the second time in his career after he won it in 2018. Egyptian King Mohamed Salah has been named the English Writers’ Association Player of the Year for 2022.
Mohamed Salah received 48% of the vote, beating out Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and West Ham United star Declan Rice, who finished second and third in the poll, for Salah to win the award for the second time in his career.
According to the decision of the English Writers Association, Mohamed Salah should receive his award at the Best Footballer Gala Dinner on May 5.
Mohamed Salah is the Premier League’s top scorer this season with 22 goals, 5 goals behind Manchester United and Tottenham’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Son Heung Min respectively.
