Liverpool announced on Friday that their Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah has signed a new ‘long-term’ contract with the team.
Liverpool did not release details, but Sky Sports reported that Salah had signed a contract until 2025.
“I think the update will take a while, but it’s all done now, so we just need to focus on the next step.”
“I feel great and happy to win titles with the club,” Mohamed Salah said in a statement on the Liverpool website. “This is a happy day for everyone.”
The Egyptian football star continued: “I think you can see that in the last five or six years the team has always moved (up). Last season we came close to winning four titles, but unfortunately in the last week of the season we lost two titles.”
