“For the past seven years, the United States has done nothing to persuade the Ukrainian government to abide by the Minsk agreements. Instead, Washington has encouraged the regime in Kiev to do nothing,” Antonov said.
In addition, Antonov noted that Washington decided to “pump” weapons into Ukraine, rather than forcing Kiev to the negotiating table with representatives from Donetsk and Luhansk.

Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
Russia has repeatedly emphasized that resolving this conflict is not part of the terms of the Minsk Agreements and accused the authorities in Kiev of trying to resolve the issue by military means and not implementing the Minsk Agreements to resolve the conflict.
