Tomorrow, the capital city of Riyadh will host a World Ministerial Conference on Sports Ethics, Values and Integrity with strong international participation, including members and representatives of UNESCO from world sports ministers, as well as a number of major sports figures and experts from around the world. The conference is the first of its kind in the world. Where it is initiated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and launched in the framework of the Conference of the Parties at UNESCO Headquarters in 2019 with the aim of promoting integrity, sports values and fair competition in various fields related to sports around the world.
The events of the conference, which brings together a number of major sports leaders, include a host of discussion sessions and seminars, including those related to the legal procedures and management of international crimes related to sports, the protection of sports from corruption and the role of sports authorities around the world in the field of sports integrity and management, as well as discussing the most important events in the field of sports integrity and many other important topics.
The conference is also aimed at cultivating sporting values and ethics and creating an outstanding and fair sport, in addition to promoting common views between the participating countries and organizations in a way that will serve the sporting system throughout the world and contribute to the imposition of fair competition in various competitions and events. which are held at all levels, local and regional, as well as continental and international.
