Ahmed bin Rashid Al Rashed, head of the competition committee of the Saudi Arabian Professional League, decided this Friday morning to formally apologize for staying in his post after he hinted at it until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
Ahmed bin Rashid Al-Rashed tweeted through his personal Twitter account, saying: “After three seasons as President of the Pro League Competitions Committee, which I preferred to continue throughout despite my practical circumstances, in response and gratitude to colleagues.
He added: “Before the end of the current season, I formally apologized for remaining the head of the committee and prayed for the next president to succeed.”
