International Olympic Committee President Dr. Thomas Bach announced the renewal of Saudi Arabia’s three members on the International Olympic Committee for the next four years, in addition to the Kingdom’s new fourth membership today.
Membership expansion came to His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee as member of the Marketing Committee, HH Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid as Vice President of the Public Relations Committee and social responsibility, and granting new membership to Princess Rima bint Bandar bin Sultan as a member of the Olympic Committee International is a board member of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, represented by the Committee on Sustainable Development and Heritage. , in addition to renewing its membership on the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games Coordinating Committee.
The addition and renewal of the Kingdom’s membership of the International Olympic Committee, the largest and most important sports organization in the world, comes as part of strengthening and increasing the Saudi workforce in international organizations in line with the sporting renaissance the Kingdom is experiencing in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
