The Saudi Arabian Yoga Committee announced the graduation of the first class of judges in the Kingdom of Yoga Asanas, which was held in cooperation with the Leadership Development Institute of the Ministry of Sports of Saudi Arabia and in the presence of experts from the Asian Yoga Asana Federation. led by Federation President Ramesh Lohan and Asian Yoga Asana Federation Technical Advisor Jaten Tomar.
The President of the Asian Yoga Asana Federation noted the great progress seen in the Kingdom’s sports sector in general and in yoga in particular, praising the Kingdom’s leadership in the practice of yoga in the Middle East region in this regard, whether in terms of the number of practitioners or specialists. While the head of the Saudi yoga committee, Nuf Al-Marwee, expressed her joy at the graduation of the first batch in Riyadh, noting that the majority of graduates are women, 19 of whom belong to several different regions of the Kingdom, in addition to two male judges.
Al Marui called on all yoga asana practitioners and professionals to take the initiative to register for courses to be held in the near future and take advantage of the courses offered by the Saudi Arabian Yoga Committee for various other types of yoga.
She emphasized that the increase in the number of yoga asana practitioners and professionals was the impetus for the provision of a cadre of Saudi and female referees to oversee the arbitration of local tournaments, and then began to participate in the arbitration of regional and international tournaments.
