Red Dead Redemption Remaster Speculation
Over the past few months, there has been much speculation about the possibility of a Red Dead Redemption remaster or a complete remake, yet, nothing official has been announced. A recent change to Rockstar’s website led to the discovery of allusions that hint something is on the way. For example, a new edition of Red Dead Redemption and a new logo for the game were featured. These references suggest something is on the way.
This is the only piece of circumstantial evidence that suggests the project is being carried out behind closed doors. Recent rumors have stated that the Red Dead Redemption remake might be announced in August 2023. Considering that date is only a few days away, the most recent improvements made by Rockstar could be interpreted as an indication that the gaming giant is getting ready to make such an announcement.
Are We Going to Turn Around?
The original Red Dead Redemption was one of the most impressive video games of its day, and the sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2, was even more impressive. Fans have been clamoring for a remaster of the first game for a long time, but reimagining Red Dead Redemption 2’s gameplay engine should be the primary focus.
Recent information unearthed by a well-known Rockstar leaker known as Tez2 implies that the company is almost ready to announce the Red Dead Redemption remaster everyone has been waiting for. Tez2 announced in a message on Twitter (sorry, ‘X’), revealing a new logo, a codename (RDR1RSP), and a new game title (Red Dead Redemption: Rockstar Presents Ver).
Rockstar’s new site update, live an hour ago, added a new reference within the games list.
