Real Madrid took another big step towards the Spanish Liga title by breaking 2-0 down to win 3/2 against Sevilla at the Ramon Sánchez Pizjuan Stadium on Matchday 32 of the league today, Sunday.
Croat Ivan Rakitic gave Sevilla a free kick in the 21st minute.
Argentine striker Eric Lamela added a second goal for Sevilla with a shot from outside the penalty area in the 25th minute.
The first half ended with Sevilla leading 2-1.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti opted to include Brazilian Rodrigo instead of Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga, and the Brazilian who came on as a substitute netted Bezet in the 50th minute with a shot from outside the box from Dani Carvajal’s cross.
Another Brazilian, Vinicius Junior, scored a goal for Real Madrid, but referee Guillermo Cuadra Fernández ruled it out due to handball in the 76th minute after using “VAR” video referee technology.
