The security authorities, represented by the Ministry of the Interior and the Qatar 2022 Safety and Security Committee, have confirmed that they have not recorded any crimes or incidents of security concern since the start of the tournament to date, demonstrating the success of their plan to ensure the safety of matches, events and crowd management.
This came during a press conference held by representatives of these bodies today, in which they reviewed their security efforts over the last period, as well as the procedures in place for the remaining matches and events of the tournament.
