Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr Visits Al Fateh Club Headquarters

Introduction

On Wednesday evening, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al Ahsa, visited the headquarters of the Al Fateh Club. The President of the Club, an engineer who is committed to providing all facilities that contribute to the development of sport in all areas, received His Highness. During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the visual presentation of the work of the administration and the achievements that have been made during the era of the current administration.

Al Fateh Investment Club and Apex Sports City

His Highness was briefed on the development of satellite stadiums and the establishment of the Al Fateh Investment Club and the associated Apex Sports City at its location at King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa. The Apex Sports City includes various sports events and academies for men and women and for all age groups from four years old. With more than 1000 participants in various games, including football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, crossfit, squash, karate, taekwondo, swimming, diving and iron trainers.

Al Fateh Club Academy and Achievements in Football

The visual presentation also included the great work done by Al Fateh Club Academy and its affiliates, in addition to the achievements in football in its various categories and the club’s various games, in addition to the new administration building and the first football team to be unique at the level of Saudi clubs.

His Highness got acquainted with the facilities of the club, was informed about the completed projects, including stadiums and headquarters, as well as the modern projects of the administrative building and the first football team that was recently created.

President of Al Fateh Club’s Remarks

For his part, the President of the Al Fateh club, engineer Saad Al Afalek, expressed his joy at the visit of His Highness to the club. He stressed that this is within the framework of the support that Saudi sports finds from the wise leadership, appreciating the interest of His Highness the Governor Al-Ahsa to the sport of the province and his continued support of all athletes in Al-Ahsa. Al-Afalek explained that his administration, since its inception, has focused on ensuring that the Al-Fateh club fulfills its mission to the fullest. Attention to infrastructure and its development was the main goal of his leadership, in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 in terms of developing and upgrading sports facilities, appreciating the achievements of Al Fateh players in various team and individual games.
