The Prime Minister of Solomon Islands Receives Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in Riyadh
The Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands, Mr. Manasseh Sogaware, received today at his residence in Riyadh His Excellency the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member and Climate Envoy, Mr. Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubair. During the reception, His Excellency conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – and wishes the government and people of the Solomon Islands continued stability, progress and prosperity.
Bilateral Relations and Development
During the reception, bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, ways of their development in various fields were considered, as well as the efforts and initiatives of the Kingdom to preserve the environment and limit climate change, a number of regional and international issues, and also discussed events of common interest.
Attendance and Delegation
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Office of the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member and Climate Envoy Ambassador Khalid bin Musayed Al Ankari and the non-resident ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Solomon Islands, Sultan bin Fahd bin Huzaim. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Minister of Finance and the Secretary of State, His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands, and a high-level delegation from the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Planning of the Solomon Islands.
