Magic: The Gathering – The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth introduced a new set of cards in June, and among those cards, there was something legendary that was secretly tucked away. The ability to wield “The One Ring” was granted to players via a line-up of cards; nevertheless, “The One Ring” existed in four distinct versions, one of which was a serialized one-of-one that was the genuine article.
A Rare Find
It was unique in every respect, and it sat there, awaiting the player or collector who would be fortunate enough to crack open a pack and secure it for themselves. After about a week on the market, it was discovered, and after that, it was certified. Soon after, bids started coming in thick and fast, with some reaching as high as $2 million.
A few hours earlier, Post Malone interacted with the store’s proprietor and bought the card; however, how much money the artist spent on the item needs to be clarified.

Post Malone is seen chatting with Brook Trafton, formerly in possession of The One Ring card, in a brief video clip uploaded to TikTok. Trafton breaks down into a torrent of tears after he assesses the card while elated and agrees to buy it immediately. Although the actual price Malone paid for the card has not been disclosed, it was a significant amount of money because it has not been refuted.

@brooktrafton When I found the One Ring, the first person who came to mind was @Post Malone. I have played MTG since I was a kid and obviously it would be amazing to keep this card. But for a guy like me, being able to sell it is life changing. I just really hoped it would go to someone who would appreciate it as much as I do.
