The US Department of Defense announced that the US and its allies will continue to provide military support to Ukraine, noting that Washington will not impose any conditions on Kiev in an agreement with Moscow.
State Department spokesman John Kirby said at a regular news conference, “The United States and its allies, son They have provided significant assistance to the Ukrainian army in eight years,” he said.
“We will continue to provide such assistance in the future to meet Ukraine’s security needs,” he said.
On the other hand, he said, “The terms of the agreement between Russia and Ukraine will be discussed by the two countries and will not be dictated by the United States.”
He noted that the United States expects Russia to “negotiate in good faith”.
