The team of the Paragliding Federation of Saudi Arabia won a bronze medal and a number of advanced positions at the fourth Asian Championship in precision landing on a point (first category), which was held from June 21 to 29 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Captain Nawaf Al-Rahili took third place and a bronze medal in the tournament, in addition to captain Abdul-Mutaali Al-Abd Al-Mutaali who placed ninth out of 70 entrants in the individual competition, and the team finished fourth overall in the championship.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Gliding Federation is working to create and implement plans for future camps, as well as focusing on creating a competitive generation in this sport, under the guidance of the best international coaches, aiming for titles and forefront positions in the world.
