Pakistan Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has announced that Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has tested positive for the coronavirus.
In a statement today, Aurangzeb said that Shahbaz Sharif has been ill for the past two days and was tested for COVID-19 today on the recommendation of a doctor and the result was positive.
On the other hand, Pakistani media reported that this is the third time that Shahbaz Sharif has tested positive for the virus, having previously been diagnosed with COVID-19 in January of this year and also in June 2020.
