Early this morning, Syrian state media quoted a military source as saying that Israel launched an attack late Monday night, killing one soldier and injuring seven, including two civilians, in addition to taking out Aleppo International Airport. Syrian media previously mentioned that the Syrian air defenses repelled “Israeli aggression” in the Aleppo region and shot down several missiles.
SANA quoted a military source: “At around 23:35, the Israeli enemy launched a missile attack from the southeast direction of Aleppo, hitting the Aleppo International Airport and a number of points in the vicinity of Aleppo.”
The agency indicated that a soldier was killed and 7 people were injured as a result of the bombing, including 2 civilians, as well as some material losses, as well as the disabling of the Aleppo International Airport.
