Pakistan will host the 48th session of the organization of Council for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) of Foreign Ministers on March 22-23 to deepen the topics on Islamophobia, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine, according to Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi.
Qazi told Anadolu Agency in an interview that this year it is session also coincides with Pakistan Day Parade, where OIC Foreign Ministers will be guests of the event as well as.

Qazi recalled the extraordinary session of the OIC held in Pakistan in December 2021, which focused exclusively on the situation in Afghanistan and helping its citizens with economic and humanitarian challenges they were facing.
“The situation in Afghanistan will be discussed. In factwe will look one of conclusions of the extraordinary of december session to establish a trust fund. We hope to be able to operationalize this trust fund at this next meeting, so that Afghanistan will play a very important role of busy agenda of the meeting.
