Sources told Al-Hadat TV that a new political declaration is expected to be signed in Sudan today to reach consensus on constitutional arrangements.
The National Consensus Force and the Sudanese Constitutional Accords Initiative extended an invitation to attend the signing.
According to the information, a number of party leaders, such as the head of the Movement for Justice and Equality, Jibril Ibrahim, the deputy head of the Democratic Unionist Party, Jaafar al-Sadiq, and the governor of the Darfur region, Minni Arki Minawi, will participate, in addition to the signatories of the political declaration, as well as other political parties.
For his part, Taj ad-Din Ishaq, a member of the Technical Committee for the Unification of the Charters, said that the coordination of resistance committees would facilitate the rejection of any political declaration announced by the consensus forces.
For his part, he pointed out in an interview with Al-Hadath that the political declaration of the consensus forces is contrary to the demands of the revolution.
Lieutenant General Sanusi Koko, a member of the Steering Committee for Freedom, Change and National Accord, said that the resistance committees are carrying out the Communist Party’s agenda, while emphasizing that the resistance committees cannot reject a political declaration.
